The Philippine Australian Society for Senior Citizens (PASSCI) celebrates the 120th anniversary of Philippine Independence Day celebration with a “Talk on Dementia on 16 June 2018, 9:30am at Fairfield Community Hall, Corner Harris and Barbara Streets, Fairfield, NSW, Australia.
The Filipino community is invited on this unique way of celebrating the Philippine Independence Day.
Speakers of the talk will be Norminda Forteza, the Managing Director of the Australian-Filipino Community Services since 2012 up to present. Previous to this role she worked with Alzheimers Australia now called Dementia Australia in 2008-2012. She has many years of experience working with communities in the areas of settlement, aged care and women’s specialist services.
Her academic qualifications include: Bachelor of Theology, Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary, Philippines; Bachelor of Arts major in Applied Psychology Monash University, Australia; Graduate Diploma in Social Welfare, Monash University; Grad Dip in Early Childhood Studies, Melbourne University; Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy, Australia.
